A rare sighting of the Northern jacana bird

There has been a rare sighting of the Northern jacana bird near our Hotel in Green Valley, AZ. This bird is common to the Caribbean and Coastal areas in Mexico but has found its way to us in Green Valley, AZ. Birders spotted this species at the new Historic Canoa Ranch Lake which is only minutes from our Hotel in Green Valley, AZ.

The Historic Canoa Ranch Lake has reached 250 different species of birds and is now the 5^th hottest spot in Pima County.  We are very lucky to have such a variety of birds only minutes away from the Canoa Ranch Golf Resort. Birders from all over the world flock to our Hotel in Green Valley, AZ to observe and photograph the variety of species that visit the Historic Canoa Ranch.
